I have taken lesson in belly dance, waltz, swing, tango and bachata. I loved all of them. Dance is not only a great exercise, it is also a way to be creative and meditative at the same time.

I don't really have any rhythm to speak of but I absolutely LOVE dancing. And it always makes me feel like I've just run a marathon (in a good way) afterwards. I think exercising should be about doing the things your body enjoys and what it wants to do. You're more apt to do something if it isn't miserable. I think dance is an excellent form of exercise for your body. And it's fun and creative too!

of course, dancing is fantastic exercise! the great thing about it is, no matter what size you are, rhythm or no rhythm, experience or no experience, anyone can dance and lose pounds. It's much more fun than traditional exercises, and especially for those like me that aren't sure what type of exercise is best for them, dance is easy, it helps me be creative and get off my butt and move more. It also really boosts my mood and self-esteem level.

Dancing is an awesome exercise! I used to dance when I was younger and have been looking for adult classes to help me stay active. It's enjoyable and it can serve as a cardio workout, I like to call that a win-win :)
